Shaylyn posing with Salina Sally, the latest rage in fashion models. She is wearing what will be in every fashion magazine and on every celebrity during Fall Fashion Week.

We stopped in Salina on the way down because Kevin told us about this awesome cowboy store where he used to get all his school clothes when he was a boy. He was right- it was pretty fabulous and before you know it five little grandchildren were trying on boots and every one of them were able to talk their Pa into buying them new boots.

Grandpa and Kennedy had a fun time bonding together. We shared a cabin with Shane and Alycia. It was fun to hear her little voice sing "I am a Child of God" each night and to see her happy, bubbly personality every morning- not to mention her wild and crazy hair! She is a sweet little girl.

This is the original Ebenezer Bryce cabin. My Dad (Ellis LeFevre) hauled it up from the wash, reassembled it, and he used it as a museum to display his Moqui indian and pioneer artifacts to tourists who stopped at the Drive-In. It is located in the side yard of what was once our home.

Kasen explores Grandma LeFevre's new monument. He climbed all over it and thoroughly checked it out. I think it met with his approval. She would be so glad to have him play there.

Acting silly on our parent's graves. What I was actually doing was a re-enactment of the resurrection from our parent's perspective. It's an awesome view.

Now let's get serious. After all, we are a pretty serious group. Our Dad was really serious too! He would have never, ever considered entertaining an audience. He hated putting on any kind of a show, so stop the cavorting on your parents grave. It isn't seemly.

Jackson having a little melt down because Pa won't buy him a really expensive, REALLY sharp, only for adults hatchet.

Cooper playing with the $30.00 resin bear souveniers. He only broke the fishing pole off one. After that I made sure that his parents were in charge of him while we were shopping in the over priced souvenier shop at Ruby's Inn.

The Shane Nelson family photo-op. The sun is in Cooper's eyes, but that's OK because it rained the whole weekend. Still, we had a wonderful time just being together. We had two great cook-outs. One was at Willis & Denece's trailer and the other was at our cabin. We so enjoyed visiting with our extended family members.

Due to illness and time constraints, we weren't able to make it up to Bryce so I decide to include this photo from around 1989-90. We haven't changed much.

You havent changed much at all! :)
Come on pa, why wouldent you let Jackson get a hatchet?!? It was all he talked about all weekend. I wish you could have come along our trip of the canyon, dad had some really great stories.
Jackson finally confessed that he ditched the rock from Brother Smith of Henriville's headstone behind the cabin. We had to have a talk about stealing artifacts and tossing them. If you are going to steal something of historic or sentimental value, you should at least have the respect to keep it!
Love that last pic! Too funny. See if you can't find those glasses and start wearing them again!
We had a great time with you all. Love the pics
