Taj-mahal Tack Shed

This is a backwards progression of the fabulous Taj-mahal tack shed. The preliminary vision was of a small, mind-your-business room built upon the pallet that the hay stands on. Very basic. But then the vision grew due to an unforseen event- the death of sweet Grandma Julie.
Randy and Kevin salvedged a shed from Kevin's Mom's property. The menonites had built it as a horse shelter which was open on one side. It was a really nice post and beam structure. They tore it down, brought it to our place and Randy has been tinkering on it all summer. He got it finished a few weeks ago and it looks really nice.

We spent every evening helping Pa on his project.
It has been fun to move with the shade and visit, laugh, eat popsicles while we separated nails, sawed boards and played with the kids and dog.
The pictures progress backwards, but you can see what a nice shed it is! He always does great work!
