Sweet little Kennedy turned three. Her mom made her a princess cake for her birthday. Alycia is such a healthy person and is trying to stay away from things like food dyes so she made the frosting pink using beet juice! Kennedy also got a princess night gown and princess sheets and bedspread. She is totally a princess and deserves the best!
Dixon got an advancement in scouts. That baggie is full of badges and arrows. Good Job, Dix!
Kasen and Kennedy both turned three. The party was a lot less of a production this year with Kennedy gone, but daddy was home from the mountain and that was fun.
Shane and Leash came over for the weekend. Shane found this awesome Jeep on KSL. He got a great deal and now he has a really cool ride.
Kasen likes to help me prepare dinner. Especially if it involves "sharps".
Kennedy came for a sleepover. They had so much fun jumping on the bed and laughing. I miss having them live close. I miss our Thursday dates for gymnastics and I miss hanging out on Sundays. But, we had fun while we could.
Pa and the boys went for several 4-wheeler rides. Dixon is a good driver around the yard and down to the barn, but for longer jaunts, Pa is indespensible.
Randy and Dixon went up to Franklin Basin to ride with Kevin. When they got back Kennedy wanted to ride Bandit. She rode him around the round pen then helped Pa unsaddle and clean him up.
Cooper has missed Grandma's Geotrax. He had fun building a long track and running the train. Cooper has been putting together his own wardrobe choices for a while now and he tends to favor this layered look. It's classic.
Two little monkeys climbing on the Grandma LeFevre tree. The kids have had fun on this poor old tree all weekend. I usually don't let them climb on it because it is so old and brittle. But Dixon had climbed up and wrapped an old bull whip ( of all things) around a branch which they would take turns swing on. I said to Dixon, "Are you going to climb all over the poor old Grandma LeFevre tree?" He thought for a second then said, "Well, she would want us to have fun!" I couldn't argue with that!
