Chopping Corn with Pa

Last Saturday Jackson spent the afternoon hauling corn with Pa from the fields to the pit while his Mom and I went to Ogden. Kasen was beyond sad to have to go with us because Pa is his special buddy. But we were going to be gone too long and Pa is not willing to change the diaper of the guy riding shotgun. So this morning Kasen and I took Pa his lunch and rode a couple of rounds before going to Logan. We met Pa at the pit. The yellow semi was empty and ready to be taken back to the field while the red semi was being emptied and the corn ground into delicious meal for the cows to eat. Kasen must have been pretty impressed because he was very quiet, looking at all the knobs, shifters and vents. He finally warmed up and decided that he wanted to drive. He honked the horn and checked out the radio. Pa says that when Kasen learns how to pee on a rock he can go with him every day.

There are lots of interesting things to check out and play with in Pa's big semi.
Kasen likes the yellow semi the best!

When Kasen is potty trained he can ride shotgun with Pa every day! That's a great incentive to start working on it.

Hum, pa sounds like another grandpa I know! :) Grandpa LeFevre will wipe no one's bum, period, end of story, no matter what!

That might come back to bite him (grandpa LeFevre) in the area previously mentioned! ha ha

We're working on it. Next year he will be ready and willing to be Pa's full-time corn hauling buddy.
