Ten years ago, this handsome little boy came into our lives.

We thought that our life was just perfect the way it was. We had no idea the joy, love, and fun one tiny little boy can bring. It was love at first sight. We didn't think life could get any better.

But it only took nine short months for the tiny baby to grow into this! Oh, the adorable chubbiness of the cheeks and rubber band arms.

Life just kept getting better! The Christmas after he turned one, Santa remembered where we lived again and brought us fun toys and games. Christmas was fun again.

He quickly grew into a big boy who was interested in many things. He loved books, and drawing, and being outside. We took him camping at Clear Creek.
Before we knew it, he was ten years old! He is an excellent reader, about the best in the whole school. He is a really good student. He writes interesting stories and reports. He can remember funny lines from his favorite movies and say them in voices that sound almost exactly like the real thing. His first movie quote was the scene from Napoleon Dynamite where Napoleon calls Kip to bring him chapstick. He was only three when he performed that. He is very kind and loving. I love everything about him and I hope that he never changes! Happy birthday, Dixon.

You are making me cry. Thanks for recording such wonderful memories and photos of our sweet Dixon. How fast the time flies...I wish I could push the slow button. They are all growing too quickly.
